ABOUT US

The Bund der Bayern Inc. is a bunch of energetic dancers who share a passion for Schuhplattlern and Bavarian culture. We have a very active adults group with approx. 6-10 dancers, and roughly the same amount of kids in our children's group. Everyone is welcome to come along to a practice session and give it a try.

 

We are based in Adelaide, and practice in Myrtle Bank and other locations: Every second and fourth Wednesday of a month from 7-8:30pm for the adults group, and every first and third Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm for the kids group (except during school holidays and on long weekends, or if there is a worldwide pandemic happening).

We always look for new members! Any person interested in giving German dancing a try should contact us via phone or email first for more details.

 

We are an incorporated association, and our members participate in all events as volunteers without any personal financial gain, other than reimbursement of costs or a reasonable honorarium.
